Impressive Chocolate displays in the shops...way before Easter had arrived...



The theme for this week is what else but Easter hence the photos reflect and revolve around Easter deco to chocolates to Easter themed craft projects.

Week 12/52

My latest preoccupation is with my blooming tulips









My ever imaginative and oh so clever as well as creative Petit Suisse's creation which showcases his impressive handicraft skills.

BricoNöel

Petit Suisse and Lil Miss N fabricated and crafted Christmas ornaments avec soin. They were for the most part decorative candle holders (bougeoirs) and an apéritif centrepiece crafted out of pâte à sel aka salt dough. There was a guirlande punctuated with a dried orange slice, felt heart-shaped jingle bell as well as a felt Xmas tree ornament which doubles as a perfumed wardrobe/closet scenter and finally a pretty pot of pine cones. Little baby Taz did contribute one candle holder which he decorated haphazardly with pebbles and stones.

There is no greater way to show my appreciation for their efforts than by proudly displaying their handiworks.

I am a very proud mummy and what better time than the festive season to display their triumphant crafts(wo)manship.

My lack of green thumb

I see the sorry state of the indoor plants that I have and wonder why I prolong their suffering. I do really want to revive and keep them until spring which is a long 3 months away from now. I am pathetic ! Two measly plants... and they are dying on me.

Shrek has been busying himself relentlessly slogging away at his day and night job so my endeavour to entrust him with the caring for the plants is to no avail.

It is getting rather desperate...all the more so when I feel like I hardly have time to do anything other than occupying and entertaining and feeding and general upkeeping the 3 and a 1/2 kids I have.

I will refrain from posting actual pictures of the pooor poor things. The real reason is I would have to take photos, upload and that takes precious time away from my other main activities.

Divertissement

The crafts project that Petit Suisse and Petite Suissesse created.
I am very proud of them like any mum. When one has been transformed from a heels wearing, chic young career woman into a slightly less chic mummy with a pusher and two toddlers whom she has to drag around like ragdolls (I am kidding about the ragdoll part) she has to look on the bright side of everything and be grateful for small mercies or else she will quickly turn into a glass figurine who will threaten to break at the slightest hint of provocation and touche.
